Hard Look at Nanotech

In recent weeks, we have been sharing news and research with you about nanotechnology, nanoparticles, and potential safety issues.

Most recently, our Founder Marie Veronique raised serious concerns related to how sunscreens can potentially damage the skin.  We've even shared the startling discovery that Plastic Nanoparticles Can Move From Mom to Baby Through Placenta.  We're not the only ones concerned by the lack of health and safety precautions related to nanotechnology.

These same concerns are now being raised in mainstream media, most recently Andrew Schneider Senior Public Health Correspondent for AOL News has highlighted the serious health risks of nano-particles in suncreen.  In addition news blogs all over the world are starting to pick up the storyline.  Malay Mail, a Malaysian news blog, has recently discussed the issues related to nanotech:
