
We receive this question quite often, and when you are applying multiple products at one time, it helps to know in what order you should use them.
While some parts of your skin care regimen may seem self-explanatory, others are not so obvious. The unchangeable steps of a skincare process are: cleansing is always first, while applying sunscreens and cream or lotion-type moisturizers containing wax is always last.
Oils and Serums
When people are using oils and serums, which is what we recommend, the most confusion seems to arise about which to apply first.
Actually, for these two product types there is no right or wrong way to do it. I usually say apply oil first, then serum, because oils are deeply penetrative and carry the ingredients deeply into the skin. However applying serum first followed by oil will have exactly the same effect, so it really is a matter of personal preference. You are going to get the benefits either way.

Q: I noticed that other than your sunscreens, most of your products are either oil based or serum based. If I'm not wrong, I don't see one that is cream based. Is there a reason for this?
