Treatment Cleanser (4oz | 120ml)

Acne is often a chronic condition that requires consistent, long-term care to keep it under control. That’s why we choose our ingredients very carefully so they work effectively, without any downside effects—even when used for a prolonged period of time.

Key Ingredients

Salicylic acid: This beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) dissolves skin protein from the outside in, so it loosens dead cell build-up trapped in pores. It also exfoliates excess dead surface cells, thereby increasing the body’s resistance to irritation and infection.

Lactic acid: This alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) is an effective exfoliant that also has significant anti-aging benefits, such as increasing production of natural ceramides to prevent moisture loss. This is crucial when it comes to treating adult acne, as adult skin is more prone to inflammation, resulting in wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Lactic acid also helps lighten post-acne hyperpigmentation.

Tea tree oil: Tests show that tea tree oil is as effective as benzoyl peroxide in combating P. acnes, the major acne-causing microbe.

Oils deliver an amazing range of benefits to all parts of the skin and body, right down to the cell membranes. Contrary to popular belief, the best way to combat excess greasiness and acne is by using the right combination of oils. We’ve got them in our Treatment Oil.

Key Ingredients

Argan oil: Rich in Omega-6 and 9, Vitamin E, carotenes, squalene, and phenols, argan oil possesses a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. It is also known for its ability to control surface sebum, thus eliminating that greasy look.

Borage oil: High in GLA’s (gamma-linolenic acid), borage oil is instrumental in controlling one of the primary contributors to acne, namely, inflammation. Because it also regulates water loss, borage oil is an excellent oil for treating adult acne.

Tea tree oil: Tests show that tea tree oil is as effective as benzoyl peroxide in combating P. acnes, the major acne-causing microbe. Better yet, it has none of the downside risks associated with benzoyl peroxide, like sun sensitization and increased skin sensitivity.

Moisturizing Face Screen, SPF 30 (2oz | 60ml)

Recommended for all skin types, Moisturizing Face Screen SPF 30 contains 20% non-nano zinc oxide and other intelligent ingredients to give you maximum protection. All you have to do is wear it everyday, from sun up to sun down.

Key Ingredients

Non-nano zinc oxidez: Non-nano zinc oxide protects against the full UV spectrum, UVA as well as UVB. It works by reflecting UV rays rather than absorbing them. And it’s highly stable, unlike most chemical sunscreens, which can generate free radicals that cause skin damage.

Red raspberry seed oil: With its natural sun protective properties, red raspberry seed oil helps to prevent sun damage. It was the subject of a study published in 2000 that showed that it could help prevent rash, eczema, and other skin lesions, and had superior anti-inflammatory properties. Raspberry seed oil also showed the potential to act as a broad-spectrum UV-shield due to its high anthocyanin content. Finally, research is suggesting that the antioxidants in raspberries are effective in slowing the effects of aging, both inside and out.

Green tea/white tea infusion: This duo imparts extra sun protection and anti-aging benefits, thanks to high levels of antioxidants, polyphenols and catechins.

Treatment Serum (1oz | 30ml)

Our Treatment Serum is both safe and effective because we use intelligent ingredients, most notably pantothenic acid, that are key to the safe and successful elimination of acne.

Key Ingredients

Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5): Vitamin B5 works by controlling and regulating the oil production of the sebaceous glands (sebum). This is done by increasing Coenzyme A (Co-A), which increases the metabolic breakdown of oils, mainly sebum, via normal activity of cell physiology.

Niacinamide: With demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide may be of benefit to patients with inflammatory skin conditions, including acne vulgaris. In particular, it blocks the inflammatory actions of iodides known to precipitate or exacerbate acne.

Licorice extract: This is one of the botanicals for acne that has a long history of success due to its activity as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent. By helping control inflammation it may prevent infection, and hence pimples, from developing. Licorice extract also is used in skin lightening formulations as it inhibits tyrosinase. Once skin conditions clear its lightening activity helps to depigment tissue damaged by post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Shake all products well before use and keep out of direct sunlight. Use both morning and night for best results.

1 Cleanse

Massage 1-2 pumps of Treatment Cleanser onto dry or moist skin. Rinse well with warm water. Cleanser can also be applied with a soft facial towel or brush to better remove stubborn makeup or dirt. Gently pat face dry.

2 Hydrate

Optional step – not included in kit. See all hydrate products.

3 Replenish

While skin is still moist, rub a few drops of Treatment Oil between palms and massage onto face. This will help work the product into the skin, stimulating blood flow and reducing pore congestion.

4 Protect Day + Repair Night

DAY: Apply Everyday Sheer Coverage SPF 20 daily. For best results, spread the coverage in outward and downward strokes.

NIGHT: Follow Treatment Oil with a thin and even layer of Treatment Serum.
