But we still insist on using them in our Pacific Face Oil. The reason is simple: they’re extremely high in the antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids your skin needs.

Chia seed and kiwi seed oils
Chia seeds are the best natural source of Omega-3 fatty acids, and kiwi seeds are not far behind. Omega-3 fatty acids help strengthen cell membranes’ barriers. Good barrier protective function means water and nutrients can enter the cells while toxins are kept out. When your cells are adequately nourished, skin glows.
Passion fruit oil and papaya seed oil
Passion fruit and papaya seed oils are cold-pressed from tropical fruits high in Omega 6 and 9, Vitamins A & C and Potassium. They penetrate the skin quickly, conditioning the skin with special enzymes that help dissolve excess sebum and impurities on the skin’s surface.
Astaxanthin and red raspberry seed oil
Derived from Hawaiian red pond algae, astaxanthin is the most powerful antioxidant on record. Its anti-aging benefits are nothing less than stunning. Topical applications reduce wrinkle- formation, and in human trials, astaxanthin has been shown to reduce visible signs of UV-aging. With their natural sun protective properties, both astaxanthin and red raspberry seed oil help to prevent sun damage.

Most people get a bit nervous when they hear the words oil and skin in the same sentence. But there’s no reason to get nervous. Our skin thrives on oil, and in fact waxes, not oils, are the major cause of skin congestion.
Applying oils to the skin, without the interference of a wax barricade, gives your skin the essential fatty acids it needs to stay healthy. These fatty acids, called lipids, are part of the environmental protection barrier that prevent outside elements, among them sun, wind and pollution, from assaulting the skin and compromising its integrity. Oils also work wonders for restoring elasticity and keeping your skin hydrated. Oils actually penetrate into clogged pores and break up congested matter—because oils dissolve oils.
At Marie Veronique Organics, we prefer oils to lotions because the small lipid particles penetrate past the epidermal barrier to deliver nutrients to deeper layers of the skin. This means that a very high concentration of therapeutic ingredients can reach the dermal layer where skin renewal takes place.

face oil to moist skin followed by one of our
night serums. It will help replenish the lipid barrier that diminishes as we age and give your skin a healthy glow over time
Shake well before use and keep in a cool place. Safe to use around eye area. If irritation develops discontinue use and consult a physician.
