Every year we lose 1- 3 percent of our skin’s collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid due to aging and sun damage. Here’s why that matters:
- Collagen gives strength and toughness to the skin, acting as scaffolding for elastin and hyaluronic acid. Loss of collagen results in weak and easily torn skin.
- Elastin gives your skin bounce. Without it, your skin tends to thin and sag.
- Hyaluronic acid gives the skin volume and provides a great deal of protective insulation. Loss of hyaluronic acid leads to thin, almost translucent skin, where blood vessels appear more prominent and the microvasculature becomes visible. The skin appears pink and displays the epidermal aspects of sun damage, which include “liver” (age) spots. The skin also becomes easily bruised.
Pacific Topical Marine Treatment is the only product available that works simultaneously to reproduce fibrocytes and blood vessels. This makes it significantly more effective than any “rejuvenating” cream on the market today because it actually reverses the skin’s aging process. The intelligent ingredients we use not only stimulate fibrocytes in the dermis (the second layer of skin) to produce more collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, they also stimulate the production of more fibrocytes and blood vessels. So, the increase in these essential components is exponential and the impact on your skin is profound.
What’s more, a regenerated and healthy dermis stimulates cell reproduction in the epidermis (the outer layer of skin), dramatically improving the skin’s appearance. It becomes thicker, less wrinkled, smoother and fuller, less pigmented and blotchy, softer and more pliable and supple. Plus, as the skin’s barrier function improves, the skin is better able to retain moisture, resist infection and protect against future damage. And if that’s not enough for you, a healthier, denser dermis camouflages blood vessels, reducing the appearance of redness in rosacea-prone skin.
Compare this with most products that attempt to induce anti-aging results by putting the ingredients of skin renewal (collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid) directly on the skin. As you can imagine, simply applying raw materials to the skin’s surface isn’t going to have much effect. For example, while much-touted hyaluronic acid products provide some humectant properties to the epidermis, topical hyaluronic acid fails to incorporate into the deeper layers to deliver real benefits. Even peptides that stimulate some parts of the regenerative process, such as stimulating fibrocytes, do so in a minor way. By contrast, Pacific Topical Marine Treatment stimulates the body to synthesize these crucial building blocks according to nature’s design.

It’s probably no surprise that our entire company is dedicated to sustainability. Wherever possible we use natural, organic and fair trade ingredients, packaged in 100% recyclable materials. And we source them as close to our Mill Valley headquarters as possible to keep our footprint super small.
Treat skin with 1-2 bottles of Regular Strength TMT, and Maintenance Strength TMT thereafter, following the directions below.
Shake well before use and keep in a cool place.
Massage one dropper full onto face and neck after
cleansing,
misting and applying
face oil. If you are using a cream or lotion (commonly made with wax), apply Pacific TMT prior to applying your moisturizer to maximize penetration.
Note: It’s normal for your skin to tingle and even develop slight redness for a short time after
application. (It’s because the fibrocytes and blood vessels in the papillary dermis are being stimulated.)
Frequency:
- Use every other day for the first 30 days.*
- Use twice a week for the next 30 days.
- Use Mainentance strength once a week thereafter.
* For severely sun damaged, thin or dry skin, use every other day for the first 60 days. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a physician.
